Showcase time!< Back to Blog
Right now, Sheriff Construction is working at more than ten different sites across London and the South East of England. We’re working with some of the major building contractors on everything from social housing to executive homes.
With this in mind, we thought it was about time we showcased some of our work!
So, here’s a summary of what’s going on at just four of our ongoing sites:
At the former site of Erith Baths in Kent, Sheriff is supporting L & Q with a regeneration project that will bring 61 new residential units to the area – a combination of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom flats plus eleven 3-bedroom houses.
L & Q is one of the UK’s leading housing associations and one of London’s largest residential developers. Sheriff has worked with this contractor at various locations previously and, at this particular site has been fulfilling brick/ block work and roofing packages (with waterproofing, insulation and green/ brown roofing across all levels).
This exclusive development of apartments and houses looks set to greatly boost the supply of housing in Watford. Working with Mears New Homes (the new-build housing division of Mears Group Plc), Sheriff is undertaking the brick/ block work requirements across seven blocks of flats plus two 3-bedroom town houses.
Garden Avenue, Hatfield
By fulfilling brickwork and roofing (single ply) packages at this site, Sheriff Construction is working with Mears New Homes on the construction of the first new council homes to be built in the borough of Welwyn Hatfield for 25 years. This project is transforming previously disused land at Garden Avenue into 22 new 1 and 2-bedroom flats. We believe the council plans to make all of these properties available on an affordable rent tenure.
White Knights, Buckinghamshire
Towards the end of 2017, Sheriff Construction began working with City Renovations (a Milton Keynes based developer of high quality construction projects) for the first time. In this instance, Sheriff Builders is fulfilling a brick/ blockwork contract on the development of a brand new 4-bedroom executive home in a rural location in Buckinghamshire.
Well done to all the teams involved in these and ALL our other ongoing projects. Head over to the case studies section of our website to see more!
