SOCIAL VALUE METRIC – COMMUNITY
THE BACKGROUND
From our humble beginnings in 2005 to becoming one of the leading roofing and brickwork contractors in the South East today, reaching our 20-year milestone has meant a great deal to us.
We decided this was a moment to reflect on two decades of teamwork, resilience and growth; to thank and celebrate with the incredible people, clients and communities who have been part of our journey; and to mark the occasion by setting ourselves a bold challenge – to raise £20,000 for charity.
OUR APPROACH
We began by consulting with our team to identify which charitable causes we wanted to support. After great suggestions and heartfelt conversations, we selected three organisations that touch the lives of many – the British Heart Foundation, Dementia UK and SOS Silence of Suicide.
Next, we planned and scheduled a series of activities across 2025–26, including individual and team fundraising challenges, as well as special events designed to bring clients, suppliers and colleagues into the campaign.
THE OUTCOME

Our team, partners and colleagues truly rallied to the challenge. Activities included a sponsored ‘no smoking’ challenge in February; a 1,000-mile walking goal for the British Heart Foundation in May; a summer BBQ in June with sports, games, a raffle and family activities; a 10k run in Luton where five of our team crossed the finish line; an anniversary gala with auction; and a football tournament where four teams fought it out for the trophy.
These initiatives have not only raised over £12,000* in vital funds for our chosen charities but have also strengthened connection across our teams and the wider community.
