Commission:
Regenerating a former gas works site in New Barnet, the Victoria Quarter scheme is creating a new highly desirable area for living, working or investment, featuring hundreds of new homes and commercial space across eleven buildings ranging from four to eight storeys.
At Phase 1 of this project, Sheriff Construction worked with Fairview to install a comprehensive roofing and waterproofing package across 420 units (a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two-bedroom duplexes) plus commercial space.
Our high-quality workmanship means Sheriff has secured Victoria Quarter Phase 2, comprising of another 500 apartments where we’re installing the IKO Permatec waterproofing system over 18,000 square metres of roofing, terraces and podium areas plus IKO Metatech Liquid to almost 2000 square metres of balconies.
For both Phase 1 and 2, we have been collaborating with a strong group of suppliers, including IKO, Ryno, ABG, Eco Green Roof, ARP, Nicholsons, Datum, and Universal Safety Systems. Demonstrating our capability to undertake specialist levelling works, Sheriff also used IKO Permascreed L at this site, a relatively unique product in the roofing market.
Valued at £5.4 million, Victoria Quarter is our largest roofing project to date. Sheriff Brickworks has also been fulfilling a major brickwork package at this site. (see its sister case study here).
