Sheriff becomes a Bronze sponsor of Love Luton

At Sheriff Construction, we have always been proud of our roots in Luton. From starting out as a small family business in 2005 to becoming part of the wider Sheriff group of companies we know today, our journey has been closely connected to the town we call home.

That is why we are delighted to announce that, from June 2026, Sheriff Construction has become a Bronze sponsor of the Love Luton initiative. Keep reading to find out more about the campaign, why we have chosen to get involved and what it means for our business and the local community.

What is Love Luton?

Love Luton is a partnership of local businesses, voluntary organisations, community groups and Luton Council, all working towards a shared goal – creating confidence, pride and a positive image for Luton.

Since its launch in 2012, the initiative has supported a wide range of projects, events and activities that celebrate the town, strengthen community connections and help drive economic growth.

Its objectives include supporting community initiatives through grant funding, encouraging business growth and investment, organising events that attract visitors and promote the local economy, celebrating Luton’s diversity and helping build a positive image of the town both locally and nationally.

Why we decided to get involved

This year felt like the right time for Sheriff Construction to become part of the initiative.

As a business that has grown from humble beginnings in Luton, we recognise the important role the town has played in our success. Many of our team live locally, our headquarters are based here and several of our sister companies also operate from the area.

It also comes during a significant year for the town, as Luton celebrates 150 years of being an officially recognised Borough with its own elected council – a milestone that highlights the town’s rich history and continued evolution.

“While Sheriff Construction has grown significantly over the last two decades, our values remain rooted in the principles that helped us build the business in the first place – investing in people, supporting communities and taking pride in the places where we work.

“We have always believed in giving something back to the communities that support us and becoming a Love Luton sponsor provides another opportunity for us to demonstrate that commitment and support a town that has played such an important role in our story.”

More than a sponsorship

As a Bronze sponsor, Sheriff Construction will have access to a number of Love Luton events throughout the year, including a Summer Reception, Luton Party in the Park, Luton RunFest and the Luton’s Best Awards.

Our sponsorship also means the Sheriff Construction brand will feature alongside these events and initiatives, helping demonstrate our support for the campaign.

However, for us, this is about more than simply placing our logo on promotional materials. We are excited to begin our journey with Love Luton and look forward to actively getting involved in the events, initiatives and opportunities the partnership creates over the coming months. In fact, we’ve already begun putting together a Sheriff team to take part in this year’s Luton RunFest 10K challenge!

When discussing the challenges facing the housebuilding sector, conversations often focus on planning delays, rising material costs, labour shortages and access to land. Sheriff team marks World Environment Day and Volunteers’ Week with a litter pick

On Friday 5th June, colleagues from Sheriff Construction came together to take part in a volunteer litter picking initiative around our office, nearby streets and local green spaces as part of the ‘Keep Britain Tidy Litter Heroes’ campaign.
